Opening in Radlett New Community Hertsmere Outreach Hub

Opening in Radlett New Community Hertsmere Outreach Hub

Community Hertsmere is delighted to announce the opening of a new outreach hub in Radlett on Tuesday 4 April 2017.

To enable residents to have easy access to the team and to meet staff face to face the new outreach, will be open every Tuesday from 1.30pm – 4.30pm at the Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett WD7 8HL.

Community Hertsmere are grateful to the Aldenham Parish Council for sponsoring the space of our new outreach hub.

At Community Hertsmere we work hard to help voluntary community organisations grow and thrive through a number of activities including providing advice and information, consultation and engagement, funding advice, help with monitoring and evaluation, provide opportunities for networking and partnership working, training and development, arrange a variety of activities and events such as trips and family outward-bound days and much more.  We also offer a Membership Service for groups, organisations, charities and local businesses in Hertsmere.

Community Hertsmere Chair, Stuart Nagler said “These kinds of outreach hubs are very important to promote community activity and engage with local residents and organisations. I’m delighted that Community Hertsmere has a presence in Radlett which I know will make a real difference. I am pleased about the support from the Parish Council and look forward to further developing our partnership approach.  By working together we can build vibrant local communities making the local area a great place in which to live, work and enjoy for all residents.”

Cllr. Estelle Samuelson from Aldenham Parish Council said, “We are delighted that Community Hertsmere will have an Outreach Hub in Radlett. The Parish Council is sure that residents and local organisations alike will take advantage of all that Community Hertsmere has to offer.  The Outreach Hub will enhance the ability of community bodies to best serve and support the local area.  To be able to work together is an encouraging sign for the future and we are sure this new venture will be a great success.
